Formartine Community Plan
The Formartine Community Planning Group meets roughly every six weeks to discuss progress against the local Community Plan. The group also considers funding applications for local community projects. A representative from a local Community Council attends, along with representatives from Aberdeenshire Council, Aberdeen Voluntary Action, NHS Grampian, Police, Fire & Rescue, the Formartine Partnership, local elected members and other relevant bodies.

Formartine Community Safety Group
The Formartine Community Safety Group meet regularly to discuss safety concerns across Formartine, including issues such as road safety, anti-social behaviour and fire safety. More details can be found on their website. The present Chair of the Safety Group is Moira Muir.
